The 2021 ICGG International Training on Geochemical Mapping Technologies was successfully held online on September 28-29, 2021, with the participation of 51 overseas trainees from 18 countries in Africa, Asia and South Africa.


The training focus on two subjects, Analytic Methods For Multi Elements Of Geochemical Samples And Quality Administration And Control System For Geochemical Samples, Management of Geochemical Data and Production of Geochemical Maps. During the online training, the participants made active exchanges with each other and the lecturers, many of which expressed their congratulation and appreciation to the successful training through emails after the training.


Online training is an effective and explosive way of ICGG to continuously promoting the capacity building of developing countries under the circumstance of the normalization of Covid-19. It has greatly helped ICGG to played the leading role in promoting geochemical mapping technologies and laid a solid foundation for the continuity of ICGG’s multi-lateral cooperation and the implementation of the International Scientific Cooperation Project “Chemical Earth”.


Since the establishment of ICGG in 2016, it has successfully held 25 international training courses home and abroad and attracted 830 participants from 48 countries, which has effectively enhanced the international influence of China geochemical technologies.
